Little kids are so cute!

I woke up at 3 this morning, so I had plenty of time to sit and do nothing. Luckily, Kanako got up at 6 and Ken at 7, so I got to play with them. Kanako showed me her dolls and we did origami together. Ken is a little harder to understand, so it was harder to play with him. He's a very curious little boy! He wants to know how to say everything in English.

I'm absolutely awestruck by how clearly and precisely they speak. American children tend to hang on to baby speak for several years, but due to the precision of Japanese culture I think that enunciation becomes paramount in learning to communicate here.

Ok, time for a nap.
