Sabishii

I am really going to miss my host family. I feel closer to them in three weeks than I did after 3 months with my other host family. Arisa and I had a good cry about it tonight. We always have nice long talks after the kids go to bed, and she is going to miss those. Dou shiyou, ne. Watashi mo sono hanashi ga daisuki. She feels almost like an older sister or a best friend to me. I was instructed to come again to Tokyo soon, and I do plan to do it. I'm going to be happy to see my family and friends in DC and elsewhere is America, of course, but this is more poignant right now because there is no guarantee I will see Arisa & co again!
